Dr. John B. Jacobs is founder of the American Baptist Foundation, having answerered the call to create it in 1985. A certified public accountant and formerly on the mathematics faculty at the University of Oregon, Dr. Jacobs earned a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois in math. He was well positioned, therefore, to grow the Foundation to a significant level of financial strength, establishing its effectiveness in garnering planned giving support. Today, Dr. Jacbos serves as technical consultant to the Foundation's leadership, having retired in September 2008. |
