Foundation Administrative Staff


President

Dr. John B. Jacobs has been the President of the Foundation since its inception in 1985. Previously, he was on the mathematics faculty at the University of Oregon and was the accountant for a wholesale and retail business. He earned a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Illinois and passed the examination required to become a certified public accountant. John also has served on the boards of the American Baptist Churches of Oregon and the American Baptist Seminary of the West.

Vice President

Lawrence E. Wilson, III began his ministry with the Foundation on July 1, 2007. Larry earned his degree in economics and music at Drew University and an MBA at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He has served nationwide in marketing and public relations for some of the country’s largest corporations as well as cultural and educational institutions.  A lifelong American Baptist, Larry is proud of his heritage – African-American, Native American, Portuguese, and English – which reflects much of the melting pot that is America.
