Larry earned his degree in economics and music at DrewUniversity and an MBA at the University of Pennsylvania’s WhartonSchool. He has served nationwide in marketing and public relations for some of the country’s largest corporations as well as cultural and educational institutions. Dr. John B. Jacobs is founder of the American Baptist Foundation, having answerered the call to create it in 1985. A certified public accountant and formerly on the mathematics faculty at the University of Oregon, Dr. Jacobs earned a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois in math. He was well positioned, therefore, to grow the Foundation to a significant level of financial strength, establishing its effectiveness in garnering planned giving support. Today, Dr. Jacbos serves as technical consultant to the Foundation's leadership, having retired in September 2008.
